Installation Instructions

Step-by-step sweep installation
1. Clean the door: Use glass cleaner and a soft cloth to thoroughly clean the area where the old sweep was attached. Remove any residue or soap scum.
2. Measure and cut the new sweep (if necessary): Measure the width of the bottom of the shower door. Mark the new sweep to this length and cut it using a utility knife or cutting pliers.
3. Orient the sweep: Identify the side of the sweep with a "drip fin" or lip. This part should always face the inside of the shower to deflect water back inside.
4. Install the sweep: Do not try to slide it on from the end. Instead, start by hooking a corner of the sweep onto the glass near the hinge and then gently push the rest of the sweep up and over the glass edge as you work your way across.
5. Secure the sweep: Ensure the sweep is pushed on all the way and is flush with the door's edge.Â
6. Test for leaks: Close the door and check that the new sweep provides a good seal. Make any necessary adjustments.  Â
*If too much resistance is found opening and closing the door, we recommend to cut off one of the fins
