Cutting Instructions

Step-by-step sweep cutting

1. Measure the width of your shower door or opening where the sweep will be installed

2. Lay the shower sweep flat on a clean surface

3. Measure from one end and mark your desired length with a pencil

4. Use a straight edge to draw a clear, straight line across the sweep

Make the Cut

1. Using garden shears, fine-tooth saw or a utility knife, carefully cut along the marked line

2. For thicker sweeps, a utility knife may work better

3. Cut slowly and steadily to ensure a clean, straight edge

Check the Fit

1. Test-fit the sweep in your shower opening before final installation

2. Trim slightly more if needed for a perfect fit
